Alyvia Brown won the 5,000 as the TSU women's track & field team posted 10, top-10 marks at the Tom Tellez Alumni Invitational this past weekend.
Car'De Moore finished sixth overall in the 100 while Cesley Williams placed fourth (55.43) in the 400. Bayli George finished eighth overall in the same event after running 56.65.
Alyvia Brown won the 5,000 in a time of 18:24.26 which ranks fourth in the SWAC while Kamara Bradey finished ninth (20:35.99). Desirae Roberts ran 1:01.28 to place third in the 400-meter hurdles. Demaya Malone (5-1.25) and Diamond Barrett (5-1.25) placed sixth and seventh, respectively in the high jump while
Kennedy Haynes threw 40-1.25 feet to place 10th in the shot put. Mikayla Ball posted a personal-best 152-2 in the hammer throw to place 10th while moving up to sixth in the SWAC.
TSU is back in action at the Michael Johnson Invitational on the Baylor University campus this weekend.
