Carr, Hines Post SWAC's Top Marks At 44 Farms Invitational

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Braylon Carr and Adam Hines posted the SWAC's top marks in their respective events as the men's track & field team competed at the 44 Farms Invitational at Texas A&M.

Anthony Momon-Lattimore posted the SWAC's ninth-fastest time in the 200 after running a career-best 21.24. Michael Strange placed eighth (1:54.01) in the 800 while Manuel Garza ran 15:30.89 in the 5,000 to place eighth and the SWAC's fifth-best time. Donyea Jarmon's time of 14.36 in the 110-meter hurdles moved him to fifth in the
SWAC while David Livingston's run of 10:13.84 in the steeplechase placed him in the SWAC's top five.

Adam Hines posted the top pole vault mark in the SWAC as he jumped an outdoor-best 15-7.75 feet. Carr's mark of 50-6.75 feet in the triple jump was an outdoor-best mark and the top mark in the SWAC as he placed third. Ahmad Muhammad followed with a sixth-place and outdoor-best finish of 50 feet as he ranks second in the SWAC.

TSU is back in action next weekend at the Tom Tellez Alumni Invitational Friday and Saturday at the University of Houston.
