Brown Posts SWAC's Fastest Mark In The Mile, Mile Relay Moves Up The Charts

Alyvia Brown posted the SWAC's fastest time in the mile as the TSU women's track & field team competed at the Charlie Thomas Invitational hosted by Texas A&M.
 
Brown posted the SWAC's top time in the mile (4:54.98) which was also a personal-best run. The mile relay of Kennedy Mosley, Cesley Williams, Avia Trammell and Bayli George ran 3:45.78 and moved to third in the SWAC.
 
Destinee Payne jumped 18-5.75 feet in the long jump and moved into the top-10 in the SWAC while Kennedy Hayes threw a personal-best 40-4 feet in the shot put to post the eighth-best mark in the SWAC.
 
TSU is back in action on Friday at the annual Howie Ryan Invitational hosted by the University of Houston.
