Men's Track Has 4 Top 5 Marks At Kirk Baptiste Invitational

Texas Southern men's track & field had four top-five marks at the Kirk Baptiste Invitational at the University of Houston on Thursday.
 
Donell Carter ran a personal-best 48.22 in the 400 to place fifth while the 4x100-meter relay ran a season-best 40.59 to place fourth. Blaine Nunn threw a career-best 56-10 in the shot put to place fourth while Jalen Walker finished fourth after throwing 180 feet in the hammer.
 
The team is back in action next Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Victor Lopez Classic at Rice University.
