The 72nd TSU Relays resumes Saturday morning at 8 a.m. inside Durley Stadium with the collegiate 5,000-meter run.
On Friday, inclement weather in the area caused a schedule adjustment on Saturday as the 4x200 and mile relays will now be timed finals at their regularly scheduled times on Saturday. The sprint medley relay was canceled.
At 3 p.m., the relays will hold its annual opening ceremonies inside Durley Stadium as TSU men's and women's track & field will honor its senior class. The TSU Relays Committee will also honor five special honorees which includes a pair of Olympians and TSU Relays alums in Fred Newhouse (1976 Gold & Silver Medalist) and 2020 Bronze Medalist Raevyn Rogers.
Immediately following the opening ceremonies, the running events will resume on the track.
