Shelby Brooks placed sixth overall in the 400 while Alexis Wilson also placed sixth in the triple jump as TSU women's track & field wrapped up competition at the Robert Platt Invitational on Saturday.

Brooks ran a 56.39 in her season debut to place sixth overall in the 400 as her time ranks third in the SWAC. Wilson jumped an indoor personal best mark of 38-8.75 to finish sixth overall as her mark ranks third overall in SWAC action.

Erica Grant cracked the SWAC's top 10 (25.22) in the 200 while Jessica Williams ranks seventh (11:40.65) in the 3,000-meter run.

TSU is back in action Friday, Feb. 9 at the Howie Ryan Invitational in Houston.
