Softball's Griggs Named SWAC Hitter Of The Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Texas Southern's Madison Griggs as the league's hitter of the week for her performance on the diamond.
 
Griggs had seven RBI during four games last week against Alcorn State and Southern. The Los Angeles native also tallied seven hits in addition to scoring three runs during those contests while contributing a batting average of .500.

Griggs and the TSU softball team are back in action at 3 p.m. Friday against Prairie View A&M in Prairie View, Texas.
