PONCE, PUERTO RICO – The Texas Southern women's golf team posted a 623 (308 – 315) total and is in fourth place at the end of day one of the ASU Hornet Invitational hosted by Alabama State University.
Sophomore Shawnise Gregory leads the way for the Tigers after her eight-over-par 152 (74 – 78) and is currently tied for seventh place. Graduate Student Kennedi Lee is one stroke back as she shot a 153 (74 – 79) and is in ninth place. Teammates Alexa Gonzalez (82 – 77) and Azul Amezcua (78 – 81) are tied with a 159.
