Women's Golf Gear Up For Arcis HBCU Collegiate Golf Championship

WESTON, Fla. – The Texas Southern women's golf team is back on the road this weekend as they compete in the Arcis HBCU Collegiate Golf Championship hosted by Arcis Golf.

The Texas Southern women's golf team finished fifth place overall at the ASU Spring Invitational hosted by Alabama State University. Graduate student Kennedi Lee was the top scorer for the Tigers, with her 161 (79 – 82) finish and placing 15th individually.

The second annual Arcis-HBCU Golf Championship is set for Saturday, Feb. 22 to Monday, Feb. 24, at The Club at Weston Hills in Weston, Fla., owned and operated by Arcis Golf, the second largest owner and operator of private, resort, and daily fee golf facilities in the United States. The tournament will feature 17 men's and women's teams from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) playing 54 holes of competition."
