SUWANEE, Ga. – The Texas Southern Men's Golf team posted a three-day total of 911 (308 – 304 – 299) to finish in sixth place following the final round of the Bridgestone HBCU Invitational Friday.
SeniormKci Lindskog was the top-scoring Tiger and finished tied for fourth place. Lindskog posted a three-round total of 218 (70 – 76 - 72), including a 1-under-par opening round, and made the All-Tournament Team.
Freshman Yashal Shah finished tied for 27th after shooting a 230 (76 – 80 - 74) in his first appearance playing for the Tigers. Tristan Garrett came in three strokes back on 233 (80 – 72 - 81) while sophomore Bradley Lavinier posted a 234 (82 – 76 - 76). Junior Darian Faust carded a 241 (82 – 82 – 77) for the tournament.
The Tigers return to action Oct. 28-29 as they compete in the HCU Husky Intercollegiate in Sugar Land, Texas.
