Women's Basketball Tournament At Tulane Canceled, Team To Host Virginia Wednesday Afternoon

NEW ORLEANS - Texas Southern's women's basketball two-day tournament at Tulane scheduled for Monday and Tuesday has been canceled due to Tulane's temporary shutdown of its women's basketball team.

TSU is back in action on Wednesday at 12 p.m. as they'll host the University of Virginia inside the H&PE Arena as the contest will feature a pair of Houston Comets legends squaring off on the sidelines in Cynthia Cooper-Dyke (TSU head coach) against Tina Thompson (UVA head coach).
