Body Named SWAC Offensive Player Of The Week

Freshman quarterback Andrew Body was named the SWAC's Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after his performance against Southern this past weekend.
 
A freshman from Corpus Christi, Texas, Body was 28-of-35 for 338 yards and rushed for 85 yards on 13 attempts in TSU's 35-31 thriller win over Southern on Saturday. He set up the game-winning touchdown with a 21-yard run on TSU's final drive as the Tigers beat Southern 35-31 for the first time since 2011. This marks the first time since 2012 a TSU student-athlete has earned the offensive player of the week honor.

TSU is back in action this Saturday at Grambling State for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
