As a guest of ours, your safety and enjoyment of the game day experience is our primary concern. Please note that everyone entering the stadium is subject to search by our security staff. This requires fans to enter through predetermined screening locations, which sometimes results in delays.

The home for TSU Football in 2026, Thorne Stadium, is an inclusive, fan-friendly stadium and is designed with accessible parking, restrooms, concessions, and seating areas. ADA Accessible Parking is available in game day parking lots. Fans with additional questions should call 281-985-6100.

There is no minimum age policy to attend events at Thorne Stadium. However, the general guidance is that children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult. It is the parent or legal guardian’s responsibility to make the determination before allowing their child to attend an event at Thorne Stadium. Children ages 2 and under do not need a ticket, provided they can sit on a parent's or legal guardian’s lap during the event.
To help ensure guest safety and experience of matches and events, sitting or standing in aisles, at rails, in ramps or in stairways is prohibited. Guests will be asked to return to their seats. Standing on seats is also prohibited.
No alcohol is sold or may be brought into Thorne Stadium. Guests will not be allowed to enter if they appear to be intoxicated.
Animals are not permitted inside Thorne Stadium with the exception of service animals (dogs) trained to work or perform tasks for guests with disabilities.
• Therapy, comfort, companion or emotional support animals are not permitted inside Thorne Stadium.
For Texas Southern football home games, individuals or groups wishing to perform the national anthem should contact Harlan Robinson at harlan.robinson@tsu.edu. Please include contact information and a link to a video of yourself or your group performing the anthem.

Helium-filled and inflated balloons are prohibited. Streamers and confetti are also prohibited per stadium measures.
Items such as skateboards, scooters, Frisbees, and balls are not permitted in the stadium.
Banners, signs, and flags are allowed in athletics facilities provided they do not impede another guest’s view of the competition, cover any facility signage, and/or are not attached to the facility. Banners, signs, and flags on poles or sticks are prohibited. Athletics Event Management reserves the right to remove any banner, sign, or flag that is in violation of the policy. Spirit signs are allowed on the top fence of each side stands and along walkway rails on each side. All signs should be removed at the conclusion of the contest. Run-through signs may not be placed on the field if it has been raining and acrylic-type paint has been used.
Blankets are permitted inside the stadium.
Glass bottles or glass containers are prohibited in the complex. Food, drinks, tobacco, gum and seeds of any type are prohibited in the field area.
Cameras with lenses less than six inches in length are allowed. Flash photography and stands/tripods of any type are prohibited.
Thorne Stadium is a cashless venue. Credit cards and debit cards are accepted in the stadium.
The use of Tobacco products/E-Cigarettes/Vapes or any other type of smoking device is prohibited on the property of Thorne Stadium.
Body costumes are allowed, however no replica weapons are allowed to be brought into the facility. Masks must be removed when undergoing the security screening process.

Thorne Stadium management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive language and/or images. Guests are required to wear shirts and shoes at all times while in the stadium. Guests wearing clothing deemed inappropriate by Thorne Stadium and Texas Southern management may be denied access into the facility.
For the safety of our guests and visitors, the operation of drones, unmanned aircraft and remote-controlled aircraft at Thorne Stadium is strictly prohibited without the advance written consent of management. Thorne Stadium is equipped with two passenger elevators which is available for authorized personnel only.
Thorne Stadium has an emergency plan to address an emergency, should one occur. Thorne Stadium’s goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere by using installed automated security systems and appropriate security operating plans. Trained Guest Services and Security personnel are present at events to provide security and safety of all guests, performers, players, and employees at Thorne Stadium. In the case of an emergency, guests must comply with requests from venue staff regarding Stadium operations and emergency response procedures.
Gates are accessible to all guests are located at the west and east sides of Thorne Stadium. Ticket Gates will open one (1) hour before the game. No ticket refunds will be given! No re-entry is allowed. Spectators must enter on the side in which they want to view the contest. Crossing sides is NOT permitted.
Texas Southern supports the SWAC's Conference Code of Sportsmanship and encourages our fans to treat visitors, players, coaches and officials with courtesy. Violators of stadium policies are subject to ejection.
Guests may not bring outside food or beverages into the stadium. Food or beverages deemed necessary due to a special dietary need, religious requirement or medical condition may be approved in advance by the Guest Services Department by calling 281-985-6100.
For TSU Football games at Thorne Stadium, all gates open 60 minutes prior to kickoff.
Laser pointers and pens are prohibited.

The only groups permitted to sell products at the stadium are those approved by the Athletic Department.
Noisemakers such as air horns, bells, and other mechanical/electronic noisemakers are prohibited.
Parking at Thorne Stadium is free of charge as lots are accessible via Aldine Bender (home & visitor), North Green (home) & Aldine Meadows Roads (home & visitor).
Thorne Stadium will not tolerate persons who may in any way enter or attempt to enter the playing field without permission. Violators will be ejected from the facility and will be subject to arrest.
Segways, Tri-Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards and Rollerblades are prohibited on Thorne Stadium premises.

Pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, and flyers that are not approved by Thorne Stadium management are prohibited.
Thorne Stadium offers TSU fans the opportunity to tailgate in the parking lots. Overnight parking is not permitted in any parking lot. Tailgating must be cleaned up, and items must be removed no later than one hour following the conclusion of each football game. All tailgaters understand they are responsible for maintaining a safe and family-friendly atmosphere at their tailgate. All guests at Thorne Stadium are required to comply with applicable Aldine ISD policies and rules as well as Federal and State of Texas laws and regulations.
TSU Students have the option to be transported from campus via bus. Please check your e-mail for detailed schedules. For other transport options, please visit the METRO website or various Rideshare companies.
