NORMAL, Ala. – The Texas Southern Lady Tigers returned to the court Friday and didn't miss a beat, claiming their seventh consecutive victory in four sets over Alabama A&M.
 
Scores of the match were 25-22, 27-25, 19-25, and 25-20.
 
Audriana Carson knocked down a team-high 12 kills, followed by 11 kills from Kali Fluke, as the Lady Tigers (16-9) improved to 12-1 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play.
 
Carson finished a dig shy of a double-double, matching teammate Allison Woods with nine digs in the match. Ellena Torres led the Lady Tigers with 20 assists, while Asia Howard contributed 12 assists.
 
Ashundria McNeal led the Lady Bulldogs with a match-high 17 kills.
 
The Lady Tigers resume play Saturday when they visit Alabama State. The Lady Hornets are the lone unbeaten team in conference play, having handed TSU a four-set loss in Houston last month.
 
First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday.
