Lamar wins 5-0 over Texas Southern

BEAUMONT, Texas- Lamar University got a 5-0 non-conference victory over visiting Texas Southern behind a hat trick performance from Jordan Mulnix.
 
Lamar scored three goals in the first half and added two more in the second half of play to close out the scoring for the day. TSU took a total of 14 shots including six that were on goal.
 
Liliana Hernandez started in goal and took the loss for Texas Southern. Hernandez allowed three goals and made four saves in the first half. Alexis Robles played the second half for the Lady Tigers, allowing two goals and making two saves.

Texas Southern moves to 1-2-0 on the season with the loss as they will look to rebound on Sunday at SMU.
