DALLAS– The Texas Southern Lady Tigers soccer team fell to SMU 5-1 on Sunday in non-conference action.
TSU's Marlyn Campa scored her second goal of the season in the 39
th minute of play to help bring the score to 2-1 in the first half.
The Mustangs went on to add three goals in the second half to close out the scoring on the day and seal the win.
Liliana Hernandez played all 90 minutes inside the net contributing four saves.
Texas Southern will return home this upcoming weekend to face Huston-Tillotson at Durley Field on Friday, Sept. 4 at 7:00 pm.
