HOUSTON- Texas Southern University All-SWAC punter Cory Carter continued to see the accolades poor in as he has been officially named a consensus All-American after completing an outstanding season of special teams play for the Tigers.
"Cory has been a big part of a lot of the success we've had within our special teams' units," said TSU head coach Darrell Asberry. "He is a game changer at the punter position and he has continued to improve each year he has been a part of our football team."
Carter led the league in yards per punt and was the NCAA statistical leader in punting average for a large part of the 2014 collegiate football season.
