GRAMBLING, La.- Madarious Gibbs and Malcolm Riley scored 16 points each to lead five players in double figures as Texas Southern dominated Grambling State 81-58 in Southwestern Athletic Conference action on Saturday night.
Gibbs made 5 of 10 field goal attempts and 5 of 6 free throws and Riley was 6 of 9 from the floor and grabbed 10 rebounds for Texas Southern.
Tonnie Collier made 3 of 7 from beyond the arc for 13 points and David Blanks and Jason Carter had 12 points each.
TSU, which has won 8 of its last 10 games, jumped to an early lead and was ahead 41-21 at the break.
The Tigers are currently in first place in the conference standings.
