HOUSTON-The Texas Southern Lady Tigers put together a complete performance on Thursday as they won a 3-0 match over the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff at the HPE Arena.
TSU came out clicking on all cylinders in the first set as they got solid contributions early from Kali Fluke and Robyn Shannon both of whom paced TSU's offense with 12 kills apiece.
Chelsea Thompson set the tone dishing out a game high 22 assists. Asia Howard added 14 assists as Texas Southern went on to sweep their season series with UAPB winning in dominating fashion in front of an energetic home crowd.
TSU will have the next few days off before returning to the hardwood versus Houston Baptist on the road.Â
