BATON ROUGE, La. – Texas Southern won a 3-1 decision over Southern Friday afternoon at the Lady Jaguar Soccer Complex.
Marlyn Campa claimed the first score of the game for the Lady Tigers after an assist from Kaylah Valdry. Neither team would score again until the second 45 minutes of the game.
In the second half, Paige Hayward tipped in a score with an assist from Briana Norwood, followed by the final TSU goal secured by Kailand Thompson.
The Lady Tigers held a 16-2 shot advantage with Liliana Hernandez being credited the win.
