JACKSON, Miss.- The Texas Southern Lady Tigers dropped a 3-2 decision to Jackson State Sunday afternoon at the JSU Soccer Field.
The battle of both Lady Tigers started with TSU's Paige Hayward giving Texas Southern a 1-0 lead 20 minutes into the match.
It was JSU's Kalen Roberts who tied things up with a goal on an assist from Cydnee Martin.
Jackson State went on to connect with the back of the net two more times before Texas Southern used a corner kick and a goal from Ysamar Alonso to bring the scoring gap closer.
The final goal from Jackson State proved to be enough as JSU ended the game with one more goal and the win.
