HOUSTON- Texas Southern suffered a 35-7 loss to Grambling State on Saturday at BBVA Compass Stadium.
The Tigers were never quite able to get in sync defensively or offensively as GSU maintained a comfortable lead the majority of the way.
"This is another tough loss but we still have a chance to go out and finish 7-4," said TSU head coach Darrell Asberry.
"This upcoming weekend we'll face a very good football team. We can't dwell on what happened tonight, we must regroup and find a way to win two football games."Â
Texas Southern will travel to face Southern on Nov. 8 in Baton Rouge in a game that will begin at 6:00 pm.Â
