LORMAN, Miss.- The Texas Southern Tigers lost a 40-25 decision to Alcorn State on Saturday in conference play.
Jay Christophe completed 10 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Jarius Moore was outstanding on defense tallying 13 tackles with two pass break-ups.
"We got off to a slow start and that really hurt our chances of winning the game," said TSU head coach Darrell Asberry. "We're looking forward to getting back on the field this weekend for our Homecoming game versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff."Â
The Tigers will look to rebound this upcoming weekend against the Golden Lions.
TSU will face UAPB on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2:00 pm at BBVA Compass Stadium.
