Audriana Carson

Former TSU volleyball standout Audriana Carson begins her second year as an assistant coach with the program.

Carson was a four-year letterwinner at TSU from 2013-17 and helped TSU reach the finals of the 2016 SWAC Volleyball Championship for the first time in two decades. She also played a big part in TSU’s volleyball dominance during that span as the Lady Tigers won three consecutive SWAC West Championships. Named the 2017 TSU Volleyball Comeback Tiger Winner, Carson was a preseason All-SWAC honoree on several occasions as one of the top offensive performers for the Lady Tigers throughout her tenure.

Upon graduating from TSU, Carson became active on the club volleyball scene as a camp facilitator and head coach for multiple age groups in both the Houston and Austin area. She also conducted personal skills training for aspiring volleyball athletes.

Carson joined the TSU volleyball staff in the spring of 2021 as a graduate assistant. She was tasked with helping the coaching staff and team navigate the challenges of COVID-19 off the court during the historic 2021 SWAC Spring Season while also assisting with practices and team operations.

A native of Hutto, Texas, Carson graduated from TSU in 2017 with a bachelor’s in health studies. In high school, she was a two-time all-district selection in addition to a four-time all-academic selection in high school.
