Elizabeth Owolabi joined the Texas Southern University Sports Medicine staff in July 2024, where she provides primary athletic training coverage for the soccer and baseball programs.

Before arriving at TSU, Elizabeth gained valuable experience through internships at Pennsylvania State University, the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Baylor University—where she had the opportunity to work closely with the football programs.

A 2024 graduate of Baylor University, Elizabeth earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies and her Master of Athletic Training through the university’s competitive 3+2 accelerated program. During her time at Baylor, she worked with a wide range of sports, including football, baseball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, and track & field.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Elizabeth has called Houston home for the past 18 years.
