Biography
2016 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared and started in 18 of Texas Southern’s 19 matches during the season … Posted a 10-7-1 record in goal … Ranked fifth in the SWAC in goals-against average (1.99) and sixth in save percentage (.688) … Set a school record with six shutouts during the season, which also ranked second in the SWAC … Named the conference’s Player of the Week after leading the Lady Tigers to back-to-back wins over Alabama A&M (Sept. 23) and Alabama State (Sept. 25) … Recorded back-to-back shutouts against Prairie View A&M, including TSU’s first-ever postseason win in program history (Nov. 3).
2015 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in five matches during the season, making four starts … Took over the starting role Oct. 23 at Alabama A&M, winning the team’s last three regular-season contests … Posted a goals-against average of 1.56 and a .708 save percentage … Compiled a 3-1 record in her four starts … Made her collegiate debut in the second half of TSU’s 5-0 loss at Lamar, giving up two goals and making three saves (Aug. 28).
RECORDS WATCH: Is the only regular starting goalie in TSU history with (currently) a winning career record at 13-8-1 … Set the school’s single-season record with 10 wins and became the first regular starter to post a winning season record while getting the decision in more than half the team’s contests … Her 13 career wins ranks second in TSU history, and needs only one win to tie Liliana Hernandez’s school record, set during Hernandez’ four-year career that concluded in 2015.
