Castillo And Goudeau Tabbed SWAC Players of The Week

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) has tabbed Adolf Castillo the Pitcher of the Week and Michael Goudeau the Hitter of the week, the league announced on Tuesday. 

The Tigers swept Southern 4-0 (6-4, 8-7, 14-1, 9-4) last weekend including one make up game from March 15. 

Castillo pitched 10.2 innings in two games while picking up the 9-4 win on Sunday. He also struck out 10 Jaguar batters. Goudeau went 5-for-11 and had nine RBIs, with five runs including two homers. 

Texas Southern will face Lamar on Wednesday, April 24 at 6 p.m. in Beaumont, Texas.
