The Texas Southern volleyball team fell 3-0 in its home opener against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Friday at H&PE Arena.
The Islanders won the matches: 25-12, 25-17, 25-11.
Amber Johnson posted a match-high nine kills, while Dallas Balanay-Flores came in hot with with 20 assists and nine digs. Rylee Achtzehn led A&M-CC with six kills and 11 assists, while Kayla while chipped in 11 digs.
The Tigers will continue competition against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi once again on Saturday at the H&PE Arena at 1 p.m.
