BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Texas Southern's Kolby Granger as its Impact Player of the Week for his outstanding performance during this past week of conference play.
Granger was a key contributor for the men's basketball team this past week of competition as he helped lead TSU to a 79-68 road win over Southern on Monday. He scored a career-high 29 points while going 5-of-7 from beyond the arc against SU. For the week, Granger averaged 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 67 percent from the field and 55 percent from three-point range.
Granger and TSU are back in action Saturday as both the men's and women's team will host senior day festivities starting at 3 p.m. against Mississippi Valley State.
