Tuesday's Baseball Game Called Due To Weather

Tuesday's baseball game at the University of Texas was declared no contest due to inclement weather which forced the cancellation of the game prior to the fifth inning.

Texas scored once in the second before TSU jumped ahead 2-1 in the third after RBIs from Tyrese Clayborne and Oscar Ponce. UT would take advantage of four walks in the fourth to jump ahead 7-2 before the game was called.

TSU will have a week to regroup and prepare for the upcoming SWAC Tournament in Madison, Ala.
