Gonzalez Finishes In 3rd Place At SWAC Championship

CLINTON, Miss. - Jose Gonzalez finished third overall as Texas Southern men's cross country finished fourth at the 2021 SWAC Championship at Choctaw Trails.

Gonzalez finished the 8k course in a time of 25:43.42 as it marked a personal best time on an 8K course. Hillary Maiyo (27:00.08) was second on the team as he finished 11th overall followed by Brian Martinez (28:01.86), Luis Del Real (28:18.01) and Brandon Washington (28:26.61).
