Weathers Named SWAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week Once Again

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Texas Southern's Michael Weathers its SWAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second straight week.

Weathers (Roeland Park, Kansas) led TSU in scoring with a 23-point effort on 8-of-12 shooting in 33 minutes played at Saint Mary's last week. The senior guard also led TSU in steals (4), blocks (2) and assists (3).

The Tigers are back in action this Friday evening versus LeTourneau inside H&PE Arena at 5 p.m.
