TSU's Dickson named SWAC Newcomer of the Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Texas Southern Tigers wide receiver Tren'Davian Dickson has been named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Week in week two of the season for his outstanding play.

Tren'Davian Dickson (R-So., WR, Navasota, Texas)
Dickson hauled in seven receptions for 159 yards and two touchdowns against Texas State.  The highlight of the night was his 75-yard touchdown reception from Jay Christophe. 

TSU Head Coach Michael Haywood on Dickson:
"Dickson comes to work every day and tries to get better. He pays attention to detail and he's steadily improved with each week. He will continue to get better as the season progresses because of his work ethic and the pride in which he takes in perfecting his craft."
