SHREVEPORT, La. – The Texas Southern Lady Tigers soccer team traveled to face LSU-Shreveport on Sunday. The highly competitive contest ended in a 1-1 tie as neither team was able to score in the two overtime periods.
LSU-Shreveport took a 1-0 advantage early in the second half before TSU's Kayla Martinez tied the match with a goal in the 68th minute of play.
The game would subsequently come to a close in a tie after both teams were held scoreless the remainder of the way.
Texas Southern will now get set for an eight match home stand beginning on Friday, August 31st when TSU host Stephen F. Austin at 7:00 pm at Alexander Durley Stadium.
