PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas- The Texas Southern Tigers football team found themselves on the wrong end of a 60-14 loss to Prairie View A&M in what was the season finale for both teams.
TSU trailed the Panthers 40–14 at the half as the Panthers held Texas Southern scoreless in the second half while adding on three more scores.
Texas Southern's defense gave up 579 yards of total offense to PVAMU (225 R, 334 P) while TSU amassed 185 yards of offensive production including 34 rushing yards and 151 yards passing.
Sean Jones led the Texas Southern defense with a game high 15 tackles during the contest.
The loss ends the Tigers season as Texas Southern finishes the year with a 2-9 overall record including a 1-6 mark in Southwestern Athletic Conference play.
