GRAMBLING, La. – Texas Southern defeated Grambling State in a Southwestern Athletic Conference match on Monday evening at the GSU Men's Gymnasium.
After dropping the opening set 25-22, Texas Southern bounced back with scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-23, to claim the match.
Alexis Austin paced Texas Southern with 12 kills and seven digs, while Jada Hall added 10 kills.
Alyssa Chuidian recorded 21 assists and 13 digs for the double-double. Breyanna York chipped in with 20 assists and Valencia Grayson finished with 13 digs.
