EUGENE, Oregon – Texas Southern dropped a 74-68 decision to the Oregon Ducks on Monday. TSU trailed 32-31 at halftime keeping the score close throughout the games' first half.
The Tigers trailed 65-64 with 3:32 remaining in the game, but that's as close as they would get as the Ducks outscored Texas Southern 9-4 in the closing minutes to survive.Â
Four players scored in double digits for the Tigers including Donte Clark (17), Demontrae Jefferson (16), Derrick Bruce (12), and Lamont Walker (10).Â
The Tigers will travel to face the Baylor Bears on Thursday as they get set to compete in the last four games of non-conference play for the 2017-18 season.
