HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Lady Tigers dropped a four set decision to the Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers on Thursday in what was TSU's final home match of the season.
PVAMU took the first two sets of the match winning by scores of 26-24 and 25-22 respectively.
Texas Southern claimed the third set of the match 25-14 before falling in the fourth and deciding set to the Lady Panthers 26-24.
During the match Alexis Austin and Kirby Anderson led Texas Southern with 19 and 13 kills respectively as fellow teammate Asia Howard racked up 37 assists.
The Lady Tigers will conclude SWAC regular season play on Sunday as they travel to face Arkansas-Pine Bluff on the road.
