Lady Tigers soccer historic season comes to a close

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – Larissa White rebounded a shot attempt off the crossbar at the 81-minute mark to rally Alabama State past Texas Southern 2-1 Saturday night at the PVAMU Soccer Complex.  
 
An assist by Kailand Thompson led to a Paige Hayward goal at the 43:09 mark of the match to give TSU a 1-0 lead. 

Mercedes Padilla would later respond in the second half scoring on a goal for ASU with 73:22 remaining.

TSU ended its record setting season at 11-6-1 and advancing out of yesterday quarterfinals for the first time in school history.
