Keiana Vines had a double-double for TSU, providing 12 points and 10 rebounds. Toni Cheadle scored 16 points while Brianna Sidney added 10 points.
The Lady Hornets were successful by holding the Lady Tigers below their season average of 41 percent from the field, down to 36.2 percent and below their 60 points per game average.
Texas Southern will look to rebound on Monday versus Alabama A&M.
