Baseball garners a split on day two of series

HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Tigers baseball team split with Jarvis Christian on Saturday winning 7-4 in game one before falling 7-6 in game two.

Zach Howell and Horace Leblanc each drove in three RBIs in the first outing of the day.

Christopher Scroggins and Blake Hicks each tallied two RBIs in game two but a two run ninth inning helped put the Bulldogs over the top.

TSU continues its series with the Bulldogs tomorrow in the series finale at 1:00 p.m.
