HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Texas Southern won a 3-1 decision over Alabama A&M on Sunday afternoon at Bulldog Field.
Three Lady Tigers scored goals, Marissa Oehler, Yadira Gonzalez and Erica Cozart while Alexis Robles was credited the win, saving one goal attempt.
The first score came 12 minutes into the match and was unassisted. Next, Gonzalez connected with the back of the net off a penalty kick.
Estelle Esperance put the Lady Bulldogs on the scoreboard, bringing the scoring gap closer together, but it was Cozart who registered the last goal of the game helping seal the win in favor of the Lady Tigers.
