Lady Tigers beat Alabama State at home

HOUSTON- Texas Southern University (10-9, 7-1 SWAC) secured another victory 67-51, over Alabama State University (8-10, 4-4) Saturday night. TSU went on a 21-8 run with 10 minutes left in the first half. 

The Lady Hornets found themselves down as many as 16 points with two minutes remaining. 

The Lady Tigers went into the second half with a 13 point lead.  Alabama State fought hard to get back in the game but couldn't stop Texas Southern's offense.

TSU was led by Alexus Johnson with 12 points and nine rebounds.
