GAINESVILLE, Fla.- Texas Southern traveled to face the Florida Gators on Friday as the Tigers lost a 75-50 decision.
Deverell Biggs led the team in scoring with 18 points while Chris Thomas added 15 points.
Texas Southern trailed by 17 at intermission and in the second half the Gators were able to add on to their lead.
TSU shot 33.3 percent from the field to the Gators 54. 4 percent and UF was able to outrebound the Tigers 34-32.
Texas Southern will play Gonzaga on Monday.
