Soccer wins fifth conference game of the season with victory over SU

HOUSTON-Texas Southern defeated Southern 2-0 in Southwestern Athletic Conference action on Sunday at Durley Field.

TSU got goals from Ysamar Alonso and Kailand Thompson.

Thompson also tallied an assist during the match as she contributed a complete performance.

With the win Texas Southern captured their fifth league victory of the season.

Texas Southern will host Prairie View A&M for Senior Day on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7:00 pm.
