HOUSTON-Texas Southern played one of their toughest games of the season on their home field, BBVA Compass Stadium.
They scored only two points in their 34-2 loss to Alabama State.

Dedric Shipman had 7 catches for 60 yards while Jaquaa Peters caught 4 passes for 51 yards.
The Tigers only score came in the fourth quarter when Amir Bloom dropped Arsenio Favor in the end zone for a safety.
Brandon Thomas led TSU with 11 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 3.5 TFL. Michael Holmes, Tray Walker and Darveon Trahan each had 10 tackles.
The Tigers go on the road to face Arkansas Pine Bluff on October 12th at 6:00pm.
