Stefann Robinson is responsible for marketing and promotions along with the daily operations of the TSU athletic programs and works closely with the athletics director to help enhance the financial resources for athletics through sponsorships and fund raising.  

Robinson, who brings decades of collegiate athletics experience and knowledge, started at TSU as a consultant for the athletics department in June 2008 before being named the athletic marketing and promotions manager in October of 2008. He was named the department's operations director in 2021 and assists the VP of Intercollegiate Athletics with fiscal, facility compliance and game operation matters.

After a brief stint as public information specialist at Albany State, Robinson served three years as athletic business manager at Prairie View A&M University from 1985 to 1988.  From 1988 to 1993 he worked at Southern University as auxiliary enterprises manager for athletics. He returned to Prairie View in 1994 as sports information director where he also served as acting athletic business manager for eight months in 2000.  In 2002, he was promoted to the ranks of assistant athletic director at Prairie View.  Robinson was named Southwestern Athletic Conference sports information director of the year in 2006.

A native of Greenville, Miss., Robinson received both a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1982 and a master’s degree in athletic administration in 1993 from Alcorn State University. Robinson is a member of the Alcorn State University National Alumni Association, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, College Sports Information Director of America and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.  He is married to the former Marie Raglin of Richards, Texas and the father of a son, Jacobi.
