Jero Chun-Chieh Yang begins his first season at Texas Southern.

Prior to TSU, Chun-Chieh Yang spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Alabama A&M under current TSU assistant Otis Highley.

Before AAMU, Yang served as a scouting and video coordinator for the Taiwan Men’s National Basketball Team, assisting head coach Charlie Parker with practice sessions, pre-practice film sessions, and individual player workouts. In addition, he organized and executed all the scouting reports, constructed team playbooks database and personnel edits. Also, he assisted the coach with staff evaluations and planned player development in the offseason.
 
Yang has coached in numerous worldwide tournaments, including the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cub, 2019 ISBC in Moscow, Russia and the 2020 FIB Asia Cup in 2021. 
 
Yang graduated from the National Chengchi University with an emphasis on Land Economics.
