This event gives student-athletes and potential employers the opportunity to meet one another, establish professional relationships, and discuss potential job and/or internship opportunities. This career fair is unique in that recruiters are TSU graduates and former student-athletes who are excited to recruit.

This resource is designed to offer student-athletes access to current job and internship listings, categorized by major. Updated monthly, the Job Board serves as a valuable starting point for job searches, helping student-athletes identify opportunities relevant to their fields of study and career interests.

This workshop provides student-athletes with hands-on guidance in crafting effective resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and cover letters. Participants will learn best practices for showcasing their skills, achievements, and professional experiences in a compelling and polished manner. The workshop also emphasizes how to highlight transferable skills gained from sports, such as teamwork, leadership, time management, and problem-solving, and how these skills are valuable in the professional setting. By the end of the session, student-athletes will have the tools and knowledge to create standout application materials and effectively present their athletic experiences as assets in their job search and professional development.

This opportunity is intended to be a resource offered to student-athletes to practice and refine their interview skills through simulated interview sessions. Participants will engage in realistic interview scenarios with experienced professionals or career coaches who provide constructive feedback and guidance. The mock interviews focus on developing effective communication strategies, answering common and role-specific questions, and presenting oneself confidently. This practice helps student-athletes build their interview skills, reduce anxiety, and increase their readiness for real-world job interviews, ultimately enhancing their chances of success in the job market.
