Fall Semester  Spring Semester
Year 1 Must be an NCAA Qualifier Must have passed 6 hours of academic credit during prior fall semester.
Year 2 Must have passed 6 hours of academic credit the previous semester.

Must have earned 24 hours of academic credit since previous fall semester, including summer

However, 18 hours of the 24 noted above must be earned during the previous academic year. No summer hours can be used to satisfy this 18 hour rule.

Not less than a 1.8 GPA
Must have passed 6 hours of academic credit during prior fall semester.

Not less than a 1.8 GPA
Year 3 Must have passed 6 hours of academic credit the previous semester.

Must declare a degree/major at beginning of the year!

Must have earned 40% of degree (48 degree hours*)

Must have earned 18 hours of academic credit during the previous academic year (fall and spring semesters).

Not less than a 1.9 GPA
Must have passed 6 hours of DEGREE credit during last semester

Not less than a 1.9 GPA
Year 4 Must have passed 6 hours of DEGREE credit the previous semester.

Must have earned 60% of degree (72 degree hours*)

Must have earned 18 hours of degree credit during the previous academic year

Not less than 2.0 GPA

Must declare degree plan.
Must have passed 6 hours of DEGREE credit during last semester

Not less than a 2.0 GPA
Year 5 Must have passed 6 hours of DEGREE credit the previous semester.

Must have earned 80% of degree (96 degree hours*)

Must have earned 18 hours of DEGREE credit during the previous academic year

Not less than a 2,0 GPA
Must have passed 6 hours of DEGREE credit during last semester

Not less than a 2.0 GPA
Note: Must always be enrolled FULL TIME to be eligible to practice or compete.
*Based on 120 hours degree plan.
